Trust Administration

When a loved one dies and they have a trust, the process of trust administration will need to be undertaken. Our office provides services to help the nonprofessional trustee in administering family trusts. We help guide the trustee to discharge their duties under Trust Law and as a fiduciary to the trust beneficiaries.

This includes areas such as assisting the trustee properly in marshalling and managing trust assets; utilization of subtrusts for tax planning purposes; interpretation of the terms of the trust and other estate planning documents; ensuring that required notices, accountings and tax filings are completed on time; and ultimately the distribution of assets to the trust beneficiaries.

Trust administration can be a complicated task. Working with a trust attorney helps simplify the process.

Let us help you successfully fulfill your responsibilities administering your family trust.
